What we do

Philadelphia Parks & Recreation connects the city's residents to the natural world, to each other, and to fun physical and social opportunities. We manage historically meaning Philadelphia events and special venues, and nosotros work with communities and organizations, leading capital letter projects and introducing creative programming.

Philadelphia's big, various parks and recreation organization provides something for everyone. Listed below are some of facilities and programs we're responsible for:

    Join Riverfront North and Roots2Rise for an all levels outdoor flow at Pennypack on the Delaware, Tuesdays from 7-8 pm! All ages and abilities are welcome.

    ** Find the states on the grass pier within the Park (Park access road at 7801 State Rd, only south of Rhawn St.)

    This class is made possible past the Riverfront North Partnership. Class is free but donations are welcome and will assist sustain more gratis and low-cost yoga programming throughout the city.

    Permit'south meditate together! We volition explore various modalities of meditation in this 6-calendar week program. Meditation has many benefits. It can reduce stress, aid control feet, improve slumber and emotional wellness, and may reduce claret pressure and assist command pain. Bring something to sit on such as a pillow, bolster, or mat. Consider sunscreen, insect repellent, and water bottle.


    This program is in partnership with the Andorra Library. Adults and Older Teens.
